Take Note: The Arnprior Lions Club’s Annual Jail and Bail Event is coming up Saturday June 14th at the Giant Tiger Parking Lot. One of the culprits behind bars is the Valley’s own Wayne Rostad! For more information call Lion Don Gougeon at 613-299-8704.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: JB Arts celebrates its 15th Anniversary from 11AM to 2PM at 64 Mill Street in Almonte. There will be delicious treats, live music, Puppet Making for the kids and more. Come join the party at the store.
Trivia Night, hosted by the Mississippi Mills Youth Centre takes place at the Almonte Old Town Hall. Doorsopen at 630PM. The Games start at 730PM. This is for ages 19+ and tickets are $25 per person.
Tomorrow: The 3D Printing Group Drop-in occurs the 1st Sunday of the month from 10-11AM at Almonte Library Branch meeting room. The purpose of the group is to bring together 3D print enthusiasts of all levels to collectively learn more.
Live at the Library: The trio “Moonfruits” performs at the Almonte Library Branch Garden at 230PM, or indoors if the weather is inclement. Tickets are $25 dollars plus fees, available at TicketsPlease.ca
Carleton Place:
Today: The Carleton Place Farmers Market is on from 830AM-1230PM at Market Square, 7 Beckwith Street.
The Carleton Place Paint Party, a fundraiser for Zion Memorial Church, takes place from 1-3PM at 37 Franklin Street.
