Arnprior:
Today: Junior Youth Night and Youth Night occur at the Nick Smith Centre at 5PM and 6PM respectively.
Tomorrow: A workshop entitled, “Reconciling Peace in Intimate Partner Violence” is being presented by the Arnprior and District Museum. Erin Lee, the Executive Director of Lanark County Interval House, will speak on her experience working to end violence against women. Erin participated in a working group as part of an inquest into the 2015 triple femicide in Renfrew County. The event occurs from 2-4PM.
Take Note: The Arnprior Lions Club Walk for Dog Guides is coming up Sunday, and organizers wish to advise you of the new location: the John Street Entrance of the Algonquin Trail. Registration begins at 1130AM and the Walk for Dog Guides gets underway at 1230PM. For information contact lionemilyv@outlook.com
Mississippi Mills:
Today: Pakenham Drop-In Coffee Time runs from 10AM to 1130AM at the Library Branch.
The Conversational French Club meets from 1030 to 1130 at the Almonte Library Branch.
Tomorrow: Yoga in the Park happens beside the Almonte Farmer’s Market (184 Reserve Street) – close to the library at 10AM. Just yourself and a yoga mat.

There will be an Elvis Tribute Show with Paul Anthony Friday May 23rd. The show is from 7-10pm; doors open at 6pm. There will be LIMITED tickets available. Purchase tickets in club during our open hours, see main page for club hours. The venue is the Army Navy Air Force Club 315 Townline Road.
Tomorrow: The Carleton Place and Beckwith Community-wide Garage Sale takes place Saturday beginning at 8AM. The master list will be available online but also a printed copy will be handed out on Friday, May 23rd at Murray’s Flea Market – 525 High Street.
The Carleton Place and District Horticultural Society’s Spring Plant Sale takes place from 830-1130AM at the Heritage Museum, 267 Edmund Street.
The Carleton Place Farmers Market happens from 830AM to 1230PM in Market Square.
