With growth come opportunities, and Carleton Place remains one of the fastest growing communities in Canada.
Soon you may be able to navigate it on public transit! The Town of Carleton Place has initiated a Transit Feasibility Study (TFS) to explore potential transit solutions to support local residents, businesses and regional visitors.
The TFS will identify a preferred solution that fits- including exploring needed startup capital and operating cost estimates.
The planned Public Information Centre is an in-person event to take place on Wednesday, June 11th from 6:30-8:30PM at the Carleton Place Arena (75 Neelin Street).
The project team will present initial findings and seek input on preferred transit options.
If you can’t be there, but wish to provide feedback, or be added to the mailing list to receive updates on the project, please contact the Project Manager, Guy Bourgon, the Director of Public Works for Carleton Place at
gbourgon@carletonplace.ca
Members of the public are encouraged to submit comments by Tuesday, June 25th.
