Take Note: The Arnprior Lions Club Walk for Dog Guides is coming up May 25th, and organizers wish to advise you of the new location: the John Street Entrance of the Algonquin Trail. Mississippi Mills:
Today: Baby Time, featuring songs, rhymes and stories for children up to 12 months with a caregiver happens Wednesdays from 10 to 1030AM at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. It’s followed by Story Time, from 11 to 11:30AM for children ages 1-4 with caregiver.
Travelogues begin at 7pm, Almonte branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library, the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
Tomorrow: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte.
Carleton Place:
Today: The Free Community Breakfast takes place at St. James Anglican Church, 225 Edmund Street from 830-1030AM
The Queer Sphere Crafting Circle is on at the Carleton Place Public Library The 2nd Wednesday of the month from 3-4:30pm, for Ages 12-16. This month, we’re dusting off the button maker and designing our own spring-inspired creative buttons! from 3-4:30pm.
Carleton Place Cruise Nights take place in the Parking Lot of Anderson’s Independent Grocer from 5-830PM.

Tomorrow: A workshop entitled, “Promoting Healthy Teen Relationships” will take place from 6-730PM at the Carleton Place Public Library, 101 Beckwith Street. The presentation is from Lanark County Interval House, and will discuss helping your teens create healthy boundaries, identify relationship red flags, and learn about safety in relationships.
