Mississippi Mills:

Baby Time, featuring songs, rhymes and stories for children up to 12 months with a caregiver happens Wednesdays from 10 to 1030AM at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. It’s followed by Story Time, from 11 to 11:30AM for children ages 1-4 with caregiver.
The Almonte Readers and Writers presents delve: In Close Conversation with writers Dagne Forrest and Carolyn Smart at 630PM at Equator Coffee, 451 Ottawa Street. Admission is pay-what-you-can in advance via Tickets Please, or at the door.
Tomorrow: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte.
The Almonte Civitan Club Community Luncheon is on from 1130 to 130PM. $23 tickets must be purchased in advance at Baker Bob’s or online at www.almontecivitan.com/shop
Mississippi Mills is hosting its Volunteer Appreciation Reception at the Civitan Hall from 630-8PM. This is an open invitation to celebrate irreplaceable community volunteers.
The ADHS Drama Club presents “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” (High School Edition) at 14 Bridge Street Almonte, beginning at 730PM, this Thursday, Friday or the Saturday matinee. Tickets are $20, available at Baker Bob’s, the ADHS Main Office and onstagedirect.com

Take Note: The 4th Annual Art for Aid Fundraiser and Celebration of Indigenous Culture will take place on May 3rd from 10-3pm at Zion Memorial United Church. This is an annual fundraiser organized and supported by Zion Memorial United Church and the Carleton Place Public Library
