The Carleton Place Public Library is hosting a series of workshops called “Community Conversations” aimed at parents, caregivers, and teachers.
Join us at the library on Thursday, May 1st from 6-7:30pm for a session called “THE TEENAGE BRAIN: AN INTRODUCTION AND OVERVIEW”.
The session is presented by Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth, and the aim is to give adults who interact with teens on a regular basis some tools to understand how the teenage brain works- and how to best support their mental health.
There is no registration for these events, and light refreshments will be served.
Plan on arriving early to get the best seats.
For more on the topic, and the series, please visit the Library website.
