What’s Good in Arnprior: “Repair Cafe” aims to build on local Community of Practice

Arnprior’s Museum Curator and Director of Culture Emily Stovel knows how to darn a sock- but how many of us just pitch the pair when a hole wears through?

She’s excited about an intervention being held this coming Saturday on site at the museum, situated at the corner of John Street and Madawaska.

The Repair Cafe’s premise is to be pragmatic- and enjoy your participation in the process.

You’re likely planning a trip downtown anyway, as the event is mid-afternoon on Saturday the 19th

If you don’t have anything to repair or want repaired, you can still bring your ideas for future repair cafe themes.

You may not have yet caught the tie-in with Earth Day; but once you’ve seen it, you can’t ignore it.
