VALLEY VOTES: Cyndi Mills senses Liberal momentum locally

Cyndi Mills has been on the ballot before- but she sees her candidacy in Algonquin-Renfrew-Pembroke as particularly relevant to the current Federal Election.

It’s Cyndi’s personal opinion that the amalgamation of the Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce with the former Arnprior body has created a stronger voice when we need it most.

Cyndi Mills says she’s proud to carry the Liberal banner in these uncertain times.

The perceived change in the ballot question may have impacted outcomes both nationally and locally; Cyndi says not only is “orange” support coming to the Grit cause- there’s a significant number of disaffected Tories looking her way.

Mills says the groundswell she’s sensing can be given a push by attracting those who haven’t necessarily voted in some time to get out to the polls and do so.

The Liberal candidate says her boss has already moved on some of the issues pinching local pocketbooks, while keeping some of the positives from the past parliament.

Although the situation with All-Candidate Debates is still fluid, Cyndi says to count her in wherever and whenever these occur.

Also on the ballot are Randy Briand, United Party; Cheryl Gallant, Conservative; Eileen Jones Whyte, NDP; Stefan Klietsch, Independent; Seth Malina, Independent; and Danilo Velasquez, Green Party. The election is April 28th.
