Arnprior:
Today: Youth Night is a program where parents can drop off their child under the supervision of experienced Program Staff and allow them time with friends to play themed games. In this program, staff start off the activity and then allow the kids to take the program in whichever way they choose. These programs are for ages 8-13 and free with the Youth Club membership.
Take Note: If you wish to register for the April 2nd sitting of The Lunch Bunch by Seniors at Home, then this Noon today is the deadline to purchase your $12 admission ticket. The meal will be sliced turkey sandwich or tuna salad sandwich. Musical entertainment is by Steve Williams. Call 613-623-7981 for information.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: The Coffee Time drop-in happens at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library from 10-1130AM.
The Conversational French Club takes place at the Almonte Library Branch from 1030-1130AM, for those with an intermediate knowledge of French or greater
A Resin Art Workshop is being hosted at the Mississippi Mills Youth Centre tonight from 730-930PM. Cost of participation is $45 for an evening of crafting, sipping and supporting the cause. The event is for those over age 19, and admission includes a glass of wine.
Carleton Place:
Tomorrow: On Saturday, March 29th, the Carleton Place and Beckwith Museum is inviting all former Findlay Foundry workers (and their families) to join in an afternoon at the museum to chat, to remember and to reminisce! In preparation for the Museum’s upcoming summer exhibit all about Findlay’s, staff are hoping to connect with former workers, their families, and anyone in the community with stories to share about Findlay’s Limited and the Findlay family. Staff will be collecting information and memories to help put together the summer exhibit.

Local Sports:
Following a seven game series which concluded last night at the J.R. Brisson Complex, the Carleton Place Junior Canadians now know their opponent in the EOJHL’s Barkley Cup Finals. They will be battling their namesake squad from Ottawa. The league will post a schedule for the seven-game Championship series later today.
