East Region OPP are reporting that a patrol officer stopped two vehicles for speeding on Highway 417 near Galetta Side Road this afternoon (Friday Mar 28th).
Police say that although the speed limit is 110km/h in the vicinity, 150km/h is still the legislated speed for stunt driving.
Both drivers received roadside 30-day driving suspensions and 14-day vehicle impounds.
The two face a minimum $2,000 fine, six demerit points, and a one year driving prohibition upon conviction.
