A goodwill gesture has landed on fertile ground.
Recently Grade 5, 6 and 7 students at Walter Zadow Public School wrote persuasive letters to Arnprior Mayor Lisa McGee and Town Council to request the donation of a FoodCycler to support their food waste reduction projects.
The students proposed that the FoodCycler by-product be used to support the soil for growing plants, vegetables and fruits.
Mayor McGee got to deliver the item, and learned more about how the students will deliver the results.
