An early morning collision on Highway 7 in Drummond-North Elmsley has left a 41 year-old Ottawan dead.
Officers with the Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Drummond/North Elmsley/Tay Valley Fire Rescue and Lanark County Paramedics were called to the scene on Highway-7 near White Road, shortly after 5AM this morning (March 5th).
A westbound SUV and an eastbound tractor trailer collided in the eastbound lane.
The 41-year-old man from Ottawa was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the lone occupant of the car.
The driver of the transport wasn’t seriously hurt.
Police continue their investigation.
