Eighteen-year-old Renfrew resident Korbyn Wentzell-Phillips cast his first-ever ballot Thursday.
Do you remember the first time you voted?
For some voters, this Feb. 27 provincial election was a brand-new experience.
Eighteen-year-old Renfrew resident Korbyn Wentzell-Phillips cast his first-ever ballot at the polling station at St. Francis Xavier Church.
How did he find the process went?
As far as what issues are important to him, he said health care comes to mind – he does not have a family doctor.
As a recent St. Joseph’s High School graduate, Wentzell-Phillips said he appreciates the significance of a strong education system.
He encouraged other young people to consider doing their part and vote in future elections.
