
There have been Veterans’ Organizations ever since there have been Great Wars- and the earliest of these in Canada dates back to 1917, when the Great War Veterans Association was formed. Today’s Royal Canadian Legion grew out of the footprints of the Canadian Legion of the British Empire Service League, and, in 1960, adopted its current moniker. With the passing of the propensity of World and Korean War Veterans, the composition of Legion Branch 174 Arnprior is changing, according to Stephanie Quinn.
