It’s Renfrew’s newest restaurant but they’re wasting no time throwing big support behind the community.
Boston Pizza Renfrew is offering up an opportunity to enjoy some amazing food, all while helping one of our most important local facilities – Hospice Renfrew.
John Birch, Renfrew Boston Pizza operations manager, explains that ‘Panookies for a Purpose’ will run for the entire month of January until Feb. 17, whereby for every delicious Panookie sold, $1 will be donated to Hospice Renfrew.
You may be wondering, just what is a Panookie?
Customers are already getting behind the initiative and there’s still plenty of time to get involved.
And then, on Valentine’s Day, there’s a very special way to continue the support for hospice, Birch explains. On Feb. 14, only, heart-shaped pizzas will be available with again, $1 from every pizza going to the organization.
Guests also have the option to leave a donation at checkout and sign their name on a paper heart that will be proudly displayed in the restaurant!
Birch says Boston Pizza is thrilled to be supporting Hospice Renfrew, a remarkable organization that provides compassionate, holistic, and dignified end-of-life care, as well as respite services for caregivers in Renfrew County.
A number of years ago, he and his wife had a friend whose father was at Hospice Renfrew. They witnessed first-hand just how meaningful an impact the facility has on our community, supporting individuals and families during life’s most challenging times
Birch also noted an added bonus – the temporary tax break that runs until Feb. 15 – that makes takeout and dining in more affordable.
