Arnprior:
Today: The Town of Arnprior congratulates its Christmas Lights Contest Winners: First Place 18 Tom Gavinski Street. Second Place, 93 Vancourtland, Third Place, 244 Allan Drive. Thanks to all who entered and helped beautify our Town in advance of the Christmas Celebration. A map of locations is posted to the Arnprior website.
Take Note: Wintermission is back! With a new program, Monday Movement, headlining the campaign, there is plenty to do and see in your community this winter.
Other Wintermission activities include: Snowshoe Adventure; Walk the Halls; the halls of Arnprior District High School are open on Tuesdays from 6PM to 7:30PM for a safe walking experience. You must register through the Town’s website.
Take advantage of Holiday Ice Skating and programming running through February.
Mississippi Mills:
On behalf of Mississippi Mills Council and Staff, we would like to wish you and yours a Merry Christmas, joyous holiday season and a happy New Year.
Carleton Place:
The Town of Carleton Place wishes one and all the happiest of Holidays and best wishes in the Coming Year.
Take Note: Residents are reminded to join with elected representatives and Staff for the New Year’s Day Levee, 1PM at the Arena; Join Council for a free skate, hot dog and hot chocolate

EOJHL: The League is on its Holiday Break. Play resumes Thursday January 2nd.
EOSL: Saturday December 28th: The Arnprior Rivermen travel to Manotick to play the Mariners at the Manotick Community Centre at 7:30PM
