Take Note: The Arnprior Santa Claus Parade is coming up Saturday, November 23rd from 6PM to 9PM
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All presents its free Community Breakfast from 830-1030AM at the Community Presbyterian Church, 111 Church Street in Almonte. A Meal for All is striving to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share wholesome food.
Tomorrow: Friday is a PA Day for the Upper Canada District School Board. Mississippi Mills is presenting a Movie and Skate at the John Levi Community Centre in Almonte. Bring the kids and enjoy a FREE public skate from 1-3pm and a movie, Kung Fu Panda 4, (upstairs in the Upper Hall) from 2-3:30pm. The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre will provide a canteen full of goodies for purchase.
Carleton Place:
Today: Stand Up For Youth will be presented by Connectwell Carleton Place, beginning at 6PM
Take Note: Downtown Carleton Place is presenting Winterfest on Saturday November 23rd from 4-8PM, with shopping and a night market, as well as horse-drawn wagon rides.
Local Sports:
EOJHL: Thursday, November 21st, the Carleton Place Junior Canadians visit the Ottawa West Golden Knights, 720PM, the Ottawa Junior Canadians are at the Casselman Vikings, 730PM, the Renfrew Timberwolves are in Smiths Falls at 815PM. Friday, November 22nd: the Embrun Panthers are in Perth to play the Blue Wings at 730PM, the Richmond Royals are in Arnprior versus the Packers- also a 730 start, the Glengarry Brigade are in Winchester to take on the Haws at 8:15PM. Saturday November 23rd the Renfrew Timberwolves are in Carleton Place versus the Canadians at 7:30PM.
EOSL: Nov. 23rd Arnprior Rivermen host the Manotick Mariners at 530PM- an early start time due to the Santa Claus Parade
