The Township of Horton will host its Remembrance Day Memorial Service at the cenotaph at the community centre this Sunday, Nov. 3. at 2 p.m.
The township will host a soup, dessert and hot beverage luncheon following the ceremony.
Horton’s event is one of several local opportunities for the public to pay respects.
Calabogie will host a ceremony on Sunday, Nov. 10 at 2 p.m. at the cenotaph on Madawaska Street.
Renfrew’s Remembrance Day Service is being held at Low Square on Nov. 11, the ceremony gets underway just before 11 a.m. Arnprior’s cenotaph is in front of the hospital and it also begins just before 11 a.m.
