Here’s what’s going on in Arnprior and area over the next 48 hours.
Arnprior:
Today: The Town of Arnprior is presenting its Haunted Hall at the Nick Smith Centre tonight. The function begins at 5PM; the earlier hours will not be as scary but we will be cracking up the spook as the night goes on.
Tomorrow: Youth Night is a program where parents can drop off their children under the supervision of our experienced Program Staff and allow them time with friends to play themed games. In this program, staff start the activity and let the kids take the program whichever they choose. It’s on Friday, from 6-8PM at the Nick Smith Centre Community Hall.
Take Note: Halloween Safety is everyone’s responsibility. Kids should preferably wear make-up as opposed to a mask. Have some illumination on your costume and don’t zig-zag across the street from house-to-house as you collect your candy. Parents: Inspect the candy when your ghosts and goblins arrive back home, to assure nothing has been tampered with. Motorists: drive slowly, and keep a sharp eye peeled.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place Thursday at the Community Presbyterian Church, 111 Church Street in Almonte from 830AM to 1030AM. Everyone is Welcome.

From 10AM to Noon, or from 2 to 4:30PM the municipality invites you to look for candy and other treats at six locations in town.
