Unease about World Peace used to be marked by a Domesday Clock during the Cold War; now, despite two grave threats to global stability, we barely talk about it.
The Arnprior and District Museum is doing something about it, and hopes you will join them.
That’s Curator, and Director of Culture for Arnprior, Emily Stovel, who says these are important discussions we often don’t know where to begin with.
The discussion will be led by Chris Houston, who is among those spearheading efforts to open a Canadian Peace Museum in Bancroft.
The event is part of the Culture in Arnprior on-going speaker series and is Saturday September 7th, beginning at 2PM.
There will be food and related activities.
