Two men in their mid-fifties were shot by a pellet gun prankster in downtown Perth Wednesday evening (April 24th). The culprit then fled the scene.
Eight days later, Lanark County OPP officers and the Lanark OPP crime Unit, supported by the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) executed a warrant at an apartment on Gore Street.
Joshua Bernicky, age 33 of Perth, was arrested without incident and has been charged with eleven counts related to the incident including Assault with a weapon, Assault causing bodily harm, Pointing a firearm,
Personating a Peace Officer as well as prohibition and probationary violations.
He was held in custody until his bail hearing May 6th.
