It was an ‘all things eclipse’ day for members of Ottawa Valley Community Connections (OVCC) in Arnprior.
Clients and staff joined in the widespread anticipation of the April 8 solar eclipse and part of the day’s fun included creating their very own eclipse t-shirts.
Along with shirt-making, the day’s activities included a tasty experiment, games, shopping and then gathering in the yard for a fun afternoon of watching the eclipse, wearing their specially created shirts, of course.
OVCC offers programming for individuals with special needs. Services include a day program, 1:1 or group respite, overnight respite, social events, adventures, job matching and job coaching.
