The man who murdered three Ottawa Valley women that sparked an inquest to end intimate partner violence (IPV) in Ontario, has died and reaction is starting to pour in.
Basil Borutski died in custody of apparent natural causes at Milhaven Institution in Bath. The 66 year-old was convicted of killing his ex partners Nathalie Warmerdam, Anastasia Kuzyk, and Carol Culleton over one September day in 2015.
Lanark County Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee testified at the inquest.
