It’s been an exacting last six months at the Arnprior Public Library but staff there has risen to the challenge and it’s busier than ever.
The library recently released its record-breaking 2023 usage numbers as work continues on renovations required following a September sewer backup and flood that affected the downstairs.
Chief librarian/CEO Karen DeLuca said there’s plenty in store for the March Break and beyond.
“We are doing some adult programming coming down the pipe, as well, so it will be a very busy spring and summer.”
The flooding situation could have been worse.
DeLuca will be happy when lower level renos are complete and the Library can surge forward embracing its trending growth
