Renfrew OPP is investigating a fatal snowmobile crash on an OFSC trail in McNab-Braeside Township. At 4:00 P.M. on February 17, 2024, officers and Renfrew County EMS arrived.
The 29-year-old driver died at the scene, while Air ORNG airlifted the 33-year-old passenger to the hospital with severe injuries.
The investigation, aided by OPP Technical Collision Investigators and a Reconstructionist, is ongoing, and the OFSC trail is closed.
