Congratulatory tributes are pouring in for Lanark County OPP Inspector Karuna Padiachi on the occasion of his retirement today (February 9th).
The Detachment Commander has enjoyed a 30-year career in service to the public, including the last 5 years heading the Lanark County OPP.
Mississippi Mills Mayor Christa Lowry has valued the policing collaboration, noting: “Inspector Padiachi has been a strong partner with the Situation Table and our Community Safety and Well-being Plan… the Victim Advocate Program and Mobile Crisis Response Team.”
The Mayor thanks Padiachi for his service and his “compelling voice in discussions and actions around diversity and inclusion.”
