Lanark County OPP have charged a Stittsville resident with fraud.
Police report that in November a Beckwith Township resident advised that they had paid a large advance to a contractor for a construction project.
The individual told investigators that issues developed and the project was not completed.
On Monday (January 22nd) OPP charged Shelby Mills, age 30, with fraud over $5000.
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court in Perth on March 4th.
