The intersection of Highways 7 and 15 in Carleton Place is getting a major facelift and modernization- as is Highway 7 and McNeeley Avenue.
Added will be continuous through-travel lanes, dual turning lanes, sidewalks, PXO pedestrian crossings and raised medians.
The Ministry of Transportation (MTO) has retained WSP Canada Inc. (WSP) to undertake the Detail Design and Environmental Assessment (EA) Study for theses improvements.
There will be a Public Information Centre (PIC) held to provide an opportunity to review and comment on the various aspects of the project this Wednesday (January 24th) from 4PM to 7PM in the Bob Rintoul Hall at the Carleton Place Arena on Neelin Street.
Members of the Project Team will be on hand to discuss the study and answer questions.
Following the PIC, digital copies of the PIC display materials will be posted to the project website at www.hwy7-15ea.ca
Please review these and offer comment by the February 7th deadline.
