The Arnprior Optimist Winter Carnival continues.
Spokesperson Chris Toner says the Jack Smith Memorial Hockey Tournament- a big draw at the Winter Carnival, gets underway on Friday.
In the Community Hall at the NSC Friday, the Riley New Band entertains. There’s a food and baked good auction going on Friday night too.
A full day of activities Saturday begins with a hearty breakfast.
This year the Sullivan Rink of Dreams joins the list of venues hosting Carnival events.
Saturday night the Arnprior Rivermen host the South Stormont Mustangs in Senior Hockey League play, with kids 16 and under free with your Carnival button.
A DJ Dance accompanies.
The Arnprior Optimist Winter Carnival has been going strong since 1967.
