An (A Wednesday evening) evening fire on Elgin Street in Arnprior involved extrication of an individual trapped inside the dwelling, and was attended by Arnprior firefighters, paramedics and OPP.
An OPP Forensics Van remains on site at 126 Elgin Street West today, and representatives of the Office of the Fire Marshal are also at the location.
The incident was reported about twenty past eight last night. First responders found the structure fully engulfed in flames, and an extrication was completed around 9PM with the removal of the occupant.
Two other residents of the triplex made their own way to safety.
Oldies 107.7 is awaiting confirmatory details from police, fire and paramedics and will update the situation as these are received.
