Christmas isn’t Christmas without the brightly lite tree. In the last couple of years, real Christmas tree prices have went up causing more and more people to buy artificial trees to save money during the holidays. Pam and Grant Martin have owned the farm since 2016, last year they saw roughly 10-20 thousand people come through the farm and pick their tree. Pam encourages people to do some research about what goes into making artificial trees and the comparison between real and fake trees.
For the last two years they have been selling trees in pots, allowing customers to plant their trees in the spring.
The Co-owner of the farm says they are so busy in the winter months that they have hired over 30 employees to help out this season.
Their goal is to educate people during the holiday months on, how buying local trees are more beneficial and environmentally friendly compared to buying artificial trees.
