The Arnprior and District Food Bank continues to be challenged in inflationary times.
Coordinator Pat Tait says she thought last year’s increase in clientele was substantial, under the calendar pages turned.
Pat says the many organizations that have chipped in to hold Food Bank-associated events has been key.
The service equation involves adding personnel as well.
Pat says one visual favourite from years past didn’t work as well as just putting out a shopping list.
The Christmas Hamper registration deadline has passed; at then end of November, 165 families or individuals had put their names in.
Hampers will be distributed on Wednesday December 20th.
The Food Bank will close December 23rd until the New Year.
