The Arnprior Food Bank is facing an unprecedented amount of requests for Christmas Hampers this year.
Coordinator Pat Tait had suggested the Food Bank was anticipating to prepare about 150 hampers this year, but that number was already exceeded by patrons who indicated their need as of this past Monday, with just one more day remaining to add names to the roll.
Pat is reluctant to say that Friday’s deadline is flexible.
Hampers will be distributed December 20th and the Food Bank will be closed from December 23rd until the New Year.
