As if the Davidson Hearing Aid spokesperson isn’t a big enough draw on his own, celebrity host Wayne Rostad will be joined by some pretty impressive locally-renowned musical entertainment at Friday’s Light up the Night ceremonies in Almonte.
Ottawa native Chantal Hackett brings her soulful sounds to the Light Up the Night stage.
Pakenham’s own Delaney Grant, known for her bold and modern country melodies, has been performing since her early days at her mother’s step dance studio.
Amber Humby is a grade 12 student from Notre Dame Catholic High School in Carleton Place, thrilled the Canada Day audience at Gemmil Park this year with her rendition of the national anthem.
As well, Amber and her band, “The Boys,” performed on the Ottawa Bluesfest stage as part of the Be the Band program.
Award-winning multi-instrumental recording artist David Finkle hails from Tyendinaga Mohawk Territory.
Finkle is a sound engineer, traditional knowledge keeper, storyteller and producer who performed at the Mississippi Mills Youth Centre’s National Day for Truth and Reconciliation Vigil in September.
