Wednesday November 15th is the date when Overnight Winter Parking Restrictions come into play in Carleton Place and continue through to April 1st of 2024.
Therre will be no overnight on-street parking between the hours of Midnight and 7AM regardless of weather conditions.
Vehicles parked in violation of the ban may be ticketed and towed to the Public Library parking lot at 101 Beckwith Street.
There are at least sixty overnight parking spots that can be used between 7PM and 11AM.
These include locations in parking lots (paved or gravel) in Riverside Park, Carleton Junction, Cavanagh Road, McNeely Avenue by the trail, Centennial Park, the Public Library parking lot and the Southerly end of Power Street.
All vehicles parked in the designated overnight areas MUST be removed by 11AM the next day- or they too risk being ticketed and toad.
