Youth is the particular focus not only of the local club; it is the mantra of Optimist Clubs everywhere.

Chris joined the local Optimist Club at age 23, and is now one of its veteran members. The cause-celebre of the local club is the Arnprior Optimist Winter Carnival.

Toner says club deeds done in anonymity are among its most rewarding activities.

The Arnprior Optimist Club was a partner in the Sullivan Rink of Dreams, raising in excess of 50 thousand dollars towards the project, and serves youth of all demographics- including providing bouncy castles at Priorpalooza.
