Four people have been arrested following a police raid Friday (April 28th) in Carleton Place.
The Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the OPP, with help from the Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and the assistance of the Lanark County OPP served a warrant at a Carleton Place residence as the culmination of a trafficking investigation that began in February.
Officers seized a quantity of cocaine, ecstasy, methamphetamine, cash and other items.
Two individuals, Ian Paynter, age 41 of Ottawa and Natacha Young, 37, of Carleton Place face charges of trafficking in cocaine.
Lucas Arnott, age 40 of Carleton Place is charged trafficking meth and Schedule 3 drugs plus three firearms charges while Emma Rowbotham, age 26 of Ottawa faces three trafficking charges, nine weapons counts and two failures to comply.
Natacha Young will appear in court in Perth June 12th; the other three were held in custody.
