We are officially one day away from the start of the Ontario Winter Games in Renfrew County.
Opening ceremonies will be held tomorrow (Thursday, February 2nd) at Ma-te-Way in Renfrew from 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
Warden Peter Emon says there will be eight competitions during the first week of events, from February 2nd to 5th, with approximately 1,100 participants.
Futsal and ringette both start on Thursday and other events from Friday to Sunday include artistic swimming, curling, fencing, hockey, speed skating and judo.
