The Arnprior and District Food Bank is feeling your pain.
Pat Tait says demand has escalated by a staggering amount with the rise of inflationary pressures.
To address this new clientele, there have already been operational changes at the Food Bank.
Pat says the Food Bank has relied heavily on pre-Christmas activity to help people through the holiday season, like the White Lake and Arnprior Santa Claus Parades, and the Cram-the-Cruiser event at Arnprior Metro.
She is impressed with community generosity; it brings tears to her eyes, and puts a smile on her face simultaneously.
Pat says that after Christmas the Food Bank is upping its game by increasing staffing levels to meet the demand.
And with the extra staff- whom you may have seen apprenticing at the various Christmas events, will come a special announcement early in the new year.
