Seven candidates are seeking the three Council seats in McNab-Braeside. The nominees gathered at McNab School September 22nd for an All-Candidate Forum, hosted by the Greater Arnprior Chamber of Commerce.

Robert Campbell is a former councillor with the Township, but has sought to reclaim his position both in the 2018 election and today. He is a life-long resident of Braeside, and was sawmill foreman when Gillies closed in 1992. He stands for improved road maintenance, and efficiencies in local government operation.
Darrell Carson is a six year resident of the Township; his family chose the location partly because of its freedom from the prevalence of light pollution in our night skies, and its access to the great outdoors.
Carson is a bean counter with the Beer Store who believes his corporate experience prepares him well for a seat on municipal council.
There are five other candidates for the three Council positions.
