Carleton Place is inviting residents to sign up for “Virtual Town Hall”- designed to save you a trip to the real one- or at least to the post office.
The Carleton Place Virtual Town Hall (VTH) website facilitates viewing their tax and utility accounts online, registering pets or renew pet licenses, and setting up pre-authorized payments.
Lawyers can print tax certificates and pay for them online.
Setting up an account in the VTH is not difficult.
Visit the Carleton Place Virtual Town Hall website to do so.
There you will find a User Manual to assist you with the setup process.
The instructions are also duplicated on the Town’s main website, with a link to a video that will walk you through the process.
Note that you will need a recent tax and/or utility bill with your account information on it to register.
