A relocation from Carling Avenue to Arnprior is good news for local residents, according to Mayor Walter Stack.
The firm has taken over the former Sandvik site off of Decosta Street in the community, which closed up in December of 2019..
Stack says the firm has been in dialogue with the Cree Nation in Northern Ontario, which has placed an initial order for twenty-nine unis.
And, the Mayor says, the success story may not stop there.
Stack says he’s grateful to local MPP John Yakabuski for helping resolve brownfield issues arising from former use of the property.
