Now that the Carleton Place Station Active Living Centre has re-opened on a limited activity schedule, there’s a push on to recruit new members as activities are only open to those who subscribe.
Among the programs that are currently up and running are social knitting, coffee and a chat, the outdoor walking club, tech tutor, and card games under the Civitan umbrella.
All seniors programs at the facility located at 132 Coleman Street conform to COVID protocols and membership fees are 25 dollars for Carleton Place residents and 40 dollars if you live out of town.
Existing memberships will be pro-rated to accommodate the down time.
Memberships can be obtained through the Carleton Place Recreation & Culture Department by calling the Arena at 613-257-1690.
Proof of vaccination is required.
