Jane Kenney-Chaput can’t remember a time she didn’t want to be a teacher. From delivering lesson to conscripts at her front-porch makeshift schools- where she was perhaps mother’s surrogate, to cleaning blackboard erasers at the real thing, Jane wasn’t going to be denied her ambition. SpecEd was Jane’s initial specialty- a background that served her well in adapting the methodology to the diversity of needs that present themselves with kindergarten learners. Jane is a committed professional working with the younger set at Saint John the 23rd elementary school in Arnprior.
