There are changes coming to the way Carleton Place determines its Building Permit Fees.
The primary reasons for the proposed changes are to increase efficiencies within the Department for permit processing.
The Town of Carleton Place is proposing to utilize flat fees for simplified permits and publish permit costs for the transactions.
A public meeting is planned to discuss the proposed changes.
