Ottawa Valley troubador Lyle Dillabough is considering making precious video tapes into a visual record of the Riverside Jam Country Music Festival, a staple in Riverside Park, Carleton Place, in the early 2000s.
Dillabough had a video camera with him for the ’05-’08 editions of the festival and shot a lot of candid footage with the artists involved.
The festival, which was extremely popular with the fans, but not such a big hit with the neighbours, was sponsored by Thomas Cavanagh Construction.
Dillabough is teaming with Lori Cavanagh for the project, and, if there is sufficient interest, they will put together a souvenir documentary encapsulating the event.
