Covid-19 has been a major setback for organizations that rely on signature events to maintain their fundraising profiles.
Members of the Almonte General Hospital Fairview Manor Foundation have put their thinking caps on, and came up with some innovative ideas to fill the void created when social distancing and gathering restriction rules intervened in the 2020 fundraising campaign.
The Foundation’s Managing Director, Al Roberts, says the recent “Gala-at-Home”, held Thursday August 27th, was one of those.
Roberts says an upcoming traditional event has been modified to address the times.
The AGH Run-Walk for Women’s Health will be held over a 48 hour period September 12th-13th.
You collect pledges as usual, but you pick the time during the two-day period that you complete your run or walk.
