Playgrounds around Arnprior are officially open. As part of the Ontario reopening plan under COVID-19 restrictions, playgrounds in municipal parks can reopen. The town says as a reminder to users that park amenities are available for use at your own risk and are not regularly sanitized. Again this year, the town has partnered with the Arnprior Regional Hospital to offer additional free parking on Sundays in July and August. Free parking is available in the parking lot behind the hospital. Parking along the hill at Robert Simpson Park and in non-designated parking spaces is not permitted. A reminder that charcoal barbeques are prohibited in town parks only propane barbeques are permitted.
