If you’ve been diligently monitoring the Facebook page for the Arnprior O’Brien Theatre, you already know the attraction will be showing a movie beginning this Friday.
Owner Kevin Marshall is as excited about the prospect as anybody else- there are still some last minute clarifications involved.
Marshall says although the O’Brien Theatre in Arnprior has a capacity in the hundreds, he’s limited to an audience of fifty under the Emergency Regulations, so social distancing will not be any problem.
All of the restrictions put the Theatre’s bottom line in jeopardy, but the work-arounds include a federal wage subsidy for staff, and the fact the film is not a first-run attraction.
Marshall says he presented the same movie at the Skylight Drive-In in Pembroke, and the demand to see it was high.
