More facilities and programming to take advantage of in Arnprior, as the Arnprior and District Museum will be opening this Saturday, July 11th.
Museum hours will be Thursday – Sunday, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, by appointment only with COVID-19 restrictions.
Groups of up to eight people can book by emailing jcarlile@arnprior.ca for instructions on procedures.
Coincidentally the current visiting exhibit may be more relevant now than it has been in quite some time.
It’s entitled “Unmasking Influenza” and covers off the 1918-1920 Spanish Flu epidemic.
Kids looking for something to do will be delighted with the “camp in a box” format for summer children’s programming.
Weekly materials will be prepared for curbside pickup, and you can link to the program’s coordinator online.
Keep an eye on the Museum website and Facebook for more information on this program.
